- First of all, I'm italian too, like the rest of your family eheheh You can learn italian talking with your mother...not totally in italian..that could be too complicated! If you need help, I could give you some tips, or more, by email. Buy some books to study on them. Ah, "Have a good day" in italian is "Buona giornata"...simpler!
- i am italian. if u really wanna speak italian u should rely on a traditional method, i tell ya by experience since i speak english as a native speaker; ive never been to any english-speaking country yet, though. i suggest ya to attend private classes, given by a native speaker cus i tell u not everyone takes into account the framework of the two languages is totally different from one another. (e.g. u never say "abbia un buon giorno", u just say "buon giorno, or buona giornata" (have a nice day!). also buy an italian grammer, written entirely in italian. if u r coming to italy, you'll have 70 % of the work done, i assure u.
