  1. If you study by yourself and you are interested..of course!
  2. ya if you have devotion 2wards it
  3. I have learned alot of spanish over the summer although most of them want u to buy it there are alot of free lessons........ there are also free audio lessons here......... also search for "visual link spanish".............
  4. Sometimes I think its easier because there are no distractions
  5. There are probably many good online sources of information, but also consider http://www.free-ed.net/free-ed/Humanities/ModernLanguages/destinos01.asp since it's supposed to be completely free. There are probably several ads for commercial products there to help offset their costs, though, so don't buy or pay for anything there unless you're sure you want to.
  6. Rocket Spanish is a pretty good way to pick up Spanish. It has a format similar to Pimsleur courses, but relies on only one Spanish speaker for the lessons, with an English instructor. Pimsleur uses one teacher in English, with multiple native speakers for each course. I've used Pimsleur Spanish to improve the Spanish I already knew. I think that it does bring you up to speed very quickly. If you need to get it right away, you can download it at The Language Stop and put it on your iPod, which is great if you need to learn when you're outside the house. Hope this helps!
  7. Try this website: http://www.mansionspanish.com .
  8. You're talking about Rocket Spanish course. It's a good one for the money and also there are some better ones like Tell Me More Spanish, Rosetta Stone Spanish...
  9. http://www.livemocha.com
  10. Yes! Rocket Spanish is a GREAT course. I used it to learn Spanish and it really helped. I used it for about one hour a night. Where I REALLY learned a TON of Spanish was using audio programs in my car. Pimsleur is the most popular, but there is one just like Pimsleur called Learning Spanish Like Crazy that is, in my opinion, better, plus it's about 1/4th the price. Audio learning in your car is the best way to go. If you spend about 10 hours a week in your car -- like I was -- and you spend all that time listening to a good Spanish course, then you can get through 40+ hours a month of lessons without using any free time! So, my answer: use Rocket Spanish, but to really learn Spanish fast, use an audio course like Learning Spanish Like Crazy in your car every time you drive somewhere.
